The Rising Stars Contest is a commitment to emerging artists who just need a little push for their talent to see the spotlight of the big stages that will see the light of day this January 2023. The winners of the competition have a reserved slot on the FIB 2023 line-up to play at the festival.
FIB is a festival with many years of experience and has seen the birth and growth of an immense number of international and national artists. Since its beginnings, it has been committed to talent and to showcasing both emerging and well-known artists to the public.
We want to bet for the new talents that are yet to be discovered, giving the tools to the artists to present themselves to this contest and to the people to vote in whom they trust. We will find out the new talents that will flood our stages from this summer onwards, from the Rising Stars Contest. The contest will have a section for emerging artists and another for emerging DJs, who will be able to register from 16 January 2023.
HOW WILL IT WORK?
On 13 January 2023, the registration period will open. You will have to fill in the registration form depending on whether you want to participate as a band or DJ at fib-risingstars.com
Both DJs and bands will be asked for basic information (artistic name, networks, number of members, etc.).
But the most important thing you should know is that you will be asked for your material:
- Bands: You will need a link to Youtube or Vimeo with a song.
- DJs: You will need a link to Youtube or Vimeo with a 25 minutes session.
Once your entries have been validated, you will be able to start receiving votes online.
At the end of the contest, among the 30 most-voted bands and the 30 most-voted DJs, the festival organisers, following the artistic, musical, and technical criteria will select the 3 winning bands and 3 winning DJs to perform at the festival alongside Franz Ferdinand, Bastille, Vetusta Morla, Tom Odell, Orbital and many more.
FIB 2023 stages have been booked for 6 Rising Stars.
