Ciudad Jara, the band led by Pablo Sánchez, presents its third studio album titled “La velada del lobo”. After the release of their first two albums, ‘Donde Nace El Infarto’ and “Cinema”, the band returns with five new songs that will be released at the beginning of the year.
With this latest work, Ciudad Jara takes the stage reinforcing its style, walking in a more festive tone, the result of the euphoria and energy spread by the public during this last year.
Guitar distortions, beautiful choruses, melodies and lyrics full of poetry and satire will tour the country during 2023. The sensitivity of a singer who returns to the stage this year accompanied by a band formed by six first class musicians capable of transmitting, from honesty, this new artistic and musical proposal. Ciudad Jara takes a step forward live and defends an elegant but casual work.
The Valencian composer thus continues a musical career that began more than a decade ago and that he transformed three years ago in a brave compositional change of direction, leaving behind his role as the leader of one of the most important bands of the last decade of Spanish rock, to build a musical “City” that adds followers with each new listen.
