Today, August 16th, 5.000 4-Day Tickets will be available for £125 (booking fee included). We will maintain this price until November 21st or until allocation is sold.

4-Day Tickets grant buyers a place in the free of charge camping area from Monday July 11th until Monday July 18th.

Hoy 16 de agosto se ponen a la venta 5.000 Abonos de 4 días a 145 €, precio que se mantendrá hasta el próximo 21 de noviembre o, en su defecto, hasta que se terminen.

Los Abonos de 4 días incluyen derecho a la utilización de zona de acampada gratuita desde el lunes 11 hasta el lunes 18 de julio.

FIB recovers its original name and confirms dates for the 2011 edition

After 10 editions of successful relationship, FIB and Heineken have ended the current agreement that included the brewery’s name in the Festival’s. For this reason, FIB will now recover the name with which it was born in 1995.

In 2001, Heineken became the Festival’s main sponsor creating an exemplary and pioneer bond that opened a gateway to a new way of understanding musical sponsorships in Spain at a time in which cultural financing was an uncertain bet.

From Maraworld we would like to thank Heineken España – and the different teams that have made up their Marketing departments throughout the past 10 years – for trusting and supporting us in our initiative and helping us in the development of the Festival in the way in which we understand live music.

The 17th edition of the Festival will be held from the 14th to the 17th of July 2011 in Benicàssim’s concert venue. Our loyal Fibers will have the opportunity to buy next year’s tickets for a special price in the upcoming days.

FIB recupera su nombre original y confirma fechas para 2011

Después de 10 ediciones de exitosa relación, FIB y Heineken dan por finalizado su actual acuerdo que incluía el nombre de la cervecera en el del Festival. De esta manera, FIB recupera el nombre que le vio nacer en 1995.
En 2001, Heineken se incorporó como patrocinador principal del Festival creándose un vínculo ejemplar y pionero que abrió el camino a una nueva forma de entender la esponsorización musical en España, en un momento en el que la financiación de la gestión cultural era una apuesta de riesgo.

Desde Maraworld queremos agradecer a Heineken España, y a los diferentes equipos que han comprendido sus departamentos de marketing a lo largo de estos años, la confianza depositada en nuestra iniciativa, ayudándonos a desarrollar nuestra manera de entender la música en directo.

La 17ª edición de FIB tendrá lugar los días 14, 15, 16 y 17 de julio de 2011 en el Recinto de Conciertos de Benicàssim. Las entradas saldrán a la venta en los próximos días con una oferta especial para los fibers más fieles.

Lily Allen unfortunately cancels her performance at FIB Heineken due to illness

Lily Allen regrets that she has been forced to pull out of her appearance tomorrow at the benicassim festival due to illness. Having been advised by her doctor that she would be unfit to travel in the next 7 days lily had no option but to cancel. She sends her deepest
apologies to fans.

The new schedule for SUNDAY 18th for the stages is as follows;

*ELLIE GOULDING (ESCENARIO VERDE): 21.30 h.

*MARCUS DOO & THE SECRET FAMILY (EASTPAK FIB CLUB): 19.45 h.

*PARADE (EASTPAK FIB CLUB): 21.45 h.

The remaining schedule for Fiberfib.com stage will remain the same.

Lily Allen cancela su actuación en FIB Heineken por motivos de salud

Lily Allen lamenta haberse visto forzada a cancelar su actuación en FIB Heineken debido a motivos de salud. Habiendo sido advertida por su doctor de que no podría viajar en los próximos 7 días, no ha tenido otra opción. Lily manda sus más sinceras disculpas a sus fans.

A continuación detallamos los cambios que se producirán en los horarios:

Tips from the British Consulate for FIB HEINEKEN 2010 attendees

Every year loads of festival-goers apply for Emergency Travel Documents (ETDs) from British Consulates in Spain because they’ve lost their passport or had it stolen. This can be stressful and pricey, and can put a real dampener on your holiday. Here are some top tips for keeping your passport and other stuff safe so you can concentrate on what’s most important: having a good time!

- Carry a photocopy of your passport with you so you can leave the original somewhere safe.

- Make use of the lockers at the Festival site. Don’t leave your passport out of sight unless it’s locked away.

- Don’t keep all your valuables together. Keep a photocopy of your passport and an extra bank card separate.

- If you want to carry your passport around with you, make sure it’s in a zipped pocket or bag.

- Be especially careful at the beach and after the Festival. It’s easier to become a victim of crime or to lose things when you’re tired or relaxed.

- Make sure you have travel insurance and look carefully at what it covers.

If you lose your passport or have it stolen, British Consulates in Alicante and Barcelona can give you advice and information on how to get an Emergency Travel Document to get home. We’ll also have extra support at our Honorary Consulate in Valencia so we’ll be nearby if you need us. You’ll find contact details and extra information at the information points at the Festival site.
