Social Responsibility

We at Maraworld are aware of the role festivals play, not only as cultural and economic driving forces, but also as social driving forces that can take advantage of their communication capacities and influence to inform and provoke reflection on different social questions and issues.

As such, FIB Heineken continues to support the informative and awareness-raising initiatives of various NGOs and non-profit organisations.

Intermon Oxfam

from 2003 the festival has undertaken an important role in supporting this NGO via a range of communication initiatives, attracting new members and fundraising events. Among these, the ARTISTS vs. PRESS football match and the administration of the Festival car parks standout as all benefits go directly to Intermon Oxfam.

We have offered a free stand in the FIB Market for distributing information and selling different products whose funds are destined to the foundation against hunger.

We have offered a free stand in order to give out information and advice about responsible drug consumption with the aim of reducing the risks associated with consumption. There will be a service offering analysis of substances.
