Accessibility

FIB is held in a barrier free venue and provides a special Access with special PRM parking spots and camping spaces, toilets and two grandstands to enjoy the concerts from (at the Main Stage –Escenario Maravillas-, and Fiberfib.com Stage) both for people with reduced mobility and a companion. In order to request these services, it’s mandatory that you contact the organization by sending an e-mail to: accesibilidad@maraworld.com as well as providing the following documentation:

  • Certificate of Disability according to the European Union Model.
  • Photocopy or scanned copy of tickets for FIB 2011 and ID cards or passports of person with reduced mobility requesting the services and companion.
  • Email of both people.

The spaces assigned for these services are limited and will only be confirmed for people who request and complete the process before July 8th (included). Please note that each request will be considered and studied individually, providing a Certificate of Disability does not mean the concession of a space. Spaces and requests will be managed in a first-come-first-served basis until full capacity is reached under the following conditions:

  • ACCESS: The Organization grants special Access to the venue to people requesting this service before July 8th and will attend further demands during the Festival days. If needed, last minute petitions can be managed at the Accreditation Office located right by the North access of the venue.
  • PARKING & CAMPING AREA ACCESS: Parking will only be granted to the people who requested the Organization reduced mobility parking before July 8th. Last minute petitions will be managed onsite until full capacity is reached. In no case will the Parking spot be guaranteed until the Organization confirms the applicant directly. Same conditions will be applied for the disabled camping facilities at CAMPFIB. Please note there is a private area called VILLACAMP which offers camping for festival goer’s with any ticket or pass for a fee. There are special PRM camping areas, toilets and public barrier free showers (in open spaces though, no privacy) at both campsites.
  • PRM GRANDSTANDS:  There are ten spaces destined for people with reduced mobility at the Main Stage (Escenario Maravillas) and eight at the Fiberfib.com stage. You’ll be able to enjoy your spot at the grandstand depending on availability; the Organization cannot guarantee spaces will be available at all times in the grandstands. PRM not using a wheelchair may apply for a chair provided by the Organization upon request. These chairs will not be available for companions.
  • PRM TOILETS: The venue counts various PRM toilets, some of them next to the special grandstands. A special “Accesibility” map marking this and other PRM services will be published at FIB’s website closer to Festival days.
  • PUBLIC BUS SERVICE: some of the buses we’ve arranged for this edition’s transportation needs will have access ramps and space for PRM. You’ll be able to buy single trip tickets as well as 10 day tickets in any of the Festival’s Points of Information.

Please remember we’re here to help. If you have any special need (battery recharge or insulin refrigeration, for example) or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Your opinion and input are essential to improve our service.

Likewise, people who do not have reduced mobility but have special access requests can contact the Organization with their petition. Please note that the Organization will study every request and each person’s individual needs before confirming special access to any of the above mentioned areas and/or services.
