We have prepared an overview of the songs that will be playing leading roles at the upcoming FIB Heineken. We hope you enjoy it.
FIBStart boasts the best line-up the Festival has ever had to welcome its attendees. Iggy & The Stooges will no doubt go through their immaculate career, built on a foundation of incredible classics like ‘I Wanna Be Your Dog’, ‘1969’ and ‘Search & Destroy’. Connor Oberts, at the helm of Bright Eyes, will bring, tucked under his arm, the recently released and excellent ‘Cassadaga’ (2007), which kicks off with the thrilling ‘Four Winds’. Mando Diao will once again exhibit their lustrous power-pop to the people at Benicàssim. Los Planetas will remind us of their musical roots in eastern Andalusia with those beats that have moved to 4/4 time on their recently released and much-acclaimed ‘La Leyenda del Espacio’. Brazilian Girls will cook up a storm as only they know how with their delicious pop sounds and electronic touches. And, the sessions of two prestigious DJs – JoJo De Freq and Aldo Linares – will close Thursday’s programme, which it would seem is going to be much more than just a welcome party.
And if FIBStart has the best line-up in the history of the Festival, what can we say about what’s lined up for Friday? To just think the FIB Heineken concert venue will be resounding all day long with songs like:
