Franz Ferdinand, Kings of Leon and Paul Weller. These are the first names – and important ones they are – that have confirmed for the line-up of the most exciting and excellent summer music festival in Spain.

Franz Ferdinand and Kings of Leon are the first two headlining bands of the 2009 line-up. The guys from Scotland will return to unleash their powerful art-rock with ‘Tonight: Franz Ferdinand’ (2009) as their excuse. Kings of Leon, for their part, will be performing songs from all four of their Albums. Both bands will head the Festival’s line-up on days yet to be determined. Along with them, Paul Weller – also with a new album, ‘22 Dreams’ (2008) – joins the line-up by the sea. The rest of the programming will be revealed as artists and bands confirm.
