Camping Areas

If I buy a one-day pass, does it include one day at a camping ground?
No, with a one-day pass you can only enter the concert venue on the date of your ticket. One-day passes do not include camping rights at the Festival camp grounds.

How many camping areas are there?
There are three camping areas for holders of multi-day passes to the Festival. One is right next to the concert venue and is called “CamFIB”. Another is set up in the area normally reserved for the open-air market and goes by the name of “Mercat”. The third one is located in town and bears the name “Bonet”.

Do all the camping areas open at the same time or do they open individually as one fills up and more people arrive?
The latter – when the first camping area fills up, the next one is opened to accommodate new arrivals. Bonet is the first camping area to open.

How do I know which camping area to go to when I arrive?
As soon as you arrive, go to an information booth and they will tell you which camping area you should go to.

On what days and at what times, approximately, do the different camping areas open?
The Bonet camping area will open on the Monday before the Festival at 11:00 am. When Bonet fills up, another will open, and so on.

When do the camping areas close?
All the camping areas will close on the Tuesday after the Festival at 2:00 pm.

Can I park my car at the camping areas?
No, but there are parking areas near the concert venue and at different places throughout Benicàssim. There are signs indicating these parking areas, and you can see where they are located on this map.

Can I camp with a caravan, a camper van or van instead of a tent?
Yes, but you must reserve space in advance. In order to reserve space, you must fill out a request form that you will find in the “Camping Area” section under “Where to Sleep”. Requests will be honoured on a first-come, first-serve basis as space is limited. If you show up with your caravan or camper van without having reserved space, you will not be able to camp in it.

Also keep in mind that you will not be able to hook your caravan up to either a water or an electricity source in the camping areas. Of course, all the occupants of the caravan must be either three-day or four-day Festival pass holders.
If you receive no word from FIB after submitting your request, that means that your request has been accepted and space has been reserved for you. If we cannot honour your request, we will get in touch with you and explain why.

Are there sockets/power points where mobile phones can be recharged in the camping areas? Where are they? Are they free?
There will be an area where mobile phones can be recharged in each camping ground. Each of these areas will have approximately 100 power points. These areas will be located as close as possible to the wristband-exchange stands and information booths. They are completely free for campers.

Are there sockets/power points in the bathrooms?
There are sockets only in the bathrooms of the Bonet camping area. The other two camping grounds have sockets only in the areas to recharge mobile phones.

Can I make a fire or use camping gas in the camping areas?
No, this is not permitted for safety reasons.

I have a dog. Can I bring him with me?
No, animals are not allowed in either the concert venue or the camping areas.

Are bicycles allowed in the camping area?
Yes, they are, but the Festival does not take responsibility for them.

Are there areas with handicapped access facilities in the concert venue and camping areas?
There is a parking area reserved for handicapped people very close to the venue. There are also special WCs and access ramps to the Escenario Verde. The venue has facilities for wheelchair access. The services available include bathrooms, platforms from which to view the concerts, and easy-access parking next to the venue. Only the handicapped person and his/her companion may enter through this access (Access South); all of the other people in the vehicle must enter through the public entry (Access North).

There are limited spaces for both handicapped parking and platform usage. Therefore, if you need to use these services, you must request them by filling out this form.
None of the camping areas has entry stairs.

Are there cash dispensers in the camping areas?
No, there are no cash dispensers in the camping areas. However, there is one, and only one, cash dispenser in the concert venue.

Are there cooking areas and places to eat with tables?
Each camping ground features a cooking area, but there are no tables set up to eat at.

Are there fire extinguishers in the camping areas?
Each camping area has an ample supply of fire extinguishers. They can be found in the storage room, in the safety boxes and the first-aid (medical assistance) area.

Are there parking areas for each of the camping grounds?
No, there are no parking areas that specifically belong to any of the camping grounds. However, there are parking areas very close to the Venue and Mercat camping grounds.

How can I get from the station to the camping areas, and then from the camping areas to the concert venue?
Just like every year, a network of free buses will be operating from the train station to the Bonet camping area from the Monday before the Festival begins until Thursday (or when the camping area reaches capacity), and between the camping areas and the concert venue from Thursday to Sunday. The following Monday, the routes will be reversed, running from the Bonet camping area to the train station, and from the camping areas to Torreón beach for the Beach Party.

The exact bus schedule will be coming soon.

I have a caravan I want to use at the camping area. Is that possible?
Yes, there is space for caravans. However, this space must be reserved in advance by filling out the appropriate request form. Space is limited, so requests will be honoured on a first-come, first-serve basis.
