The concerts have been taking place since 1998 in an area that originally covered 80,000 square meters and was expanded to cover almost 100,000 in 2003. This area is located at the 986,300 kilometer mark of highway N-340, in the town of Benicàssim, outside of Castellón.
The venue is the hub and focal point where – from Thursday to Sunday – the efforts of the organisation and the enthusiasm of the attendees meet and converge, making the Festival something really special. A space that is constantly being improved, the venue now covers an area of 90,000 square metres, and its different sections are strategically positioned to make the experience of attending comfortable, fluid and safe. The different stages that make up the Festival are distributed around the venue, which also has three rest areas, a great common area presided over by one gigantic screen and two others, easily located, where you can relax and recharge your batteries.
There will also be space for the FIB Market where you can get music, clothes and accessories of diverse kinds. And, at the FIB Shop you can get all of the official Festival merchandise as well as merchandise of the bands performing this year. As part of the services offered to our attendees, you will find water fountains set up throughout the venue in different areas. There will also be a wide variety of high-quality food options.
Likewise, there will be several first-aid teams at your service spread out around the Festival venue. You see, your comfort, enjoyment and security are our priorities.
