The Bishops

From London come The Bishops, a three-piece band known for the immediate impact their songs make – songs meant to be played live, with the amps turned way up.

Mike and Pete Bishop, who are twin brothers, formed this band with Chris McConville in 2002, and since then they have been playing non-stop. Their high-charged dynamism can be appreciated on their two albums – “The Bishops” (2007) and the recently released “For Now” (2009) – which invite comparisons with The Kinks and The Jam and feature thrilling songs like “I Really Don’t Know What to Say”, “Higher Now”, “I Can’t Stand It Anymore” and “City Lights”.
