Marc Collin and Olver Libaux take their name from the cult of cinema to elaborate new readings of the great pop classics of the 80s. The fruit of their union is a curious approach which – above and beyond paying tribute to a decade loved by many and reviled by others – revamps the songs they tackle with a smooth and warm bossa nova sound.

Featuring a variety of different vocalists, Collin and Libaux’s stunning arrangements for songs by XTC, The Clash, The Undertones, New Order, Blondie, Echo & The Bunnymen, Buzzcocks, Joy Division, Depeche Mode and Dead Kennedys, among others, respect the integrity of the original versions yet are completely fresh and unique.
