Seven years ago Gonzalo Portellano and Nacho Fernández recorded a demo that featured short songs full of pretty arrangements and harmonies seemingly inspired by the The Byrds, The Field Mice and The Orchids – all written with imagination and devotion. Songs from this demo appeared on two mythical programmes, Viaje a los Sueños Polares and El Kastillo de Las Lágrimas, broadcast with authentic enthusiasm.

Four years later, Mirafiori released their first album, “No Podemos Volver A Casa” – a heartfelt work in which the pure simplicity of endearingly catchy melodies and thought-provoking lyrics is something to be savoured and enjoyed and reflected on, almost like a stroll down memory lane.
