Like the true masters of the genre that they are, the Madrid band Los Coronas have turned surf music into much more than most associate with the sound.

This five-guy band explores the style, adding vibrant touches in which elements of mystery films and the soundtracks of unforgettable spaghetti westerns can be distinguished, plus a few dashes of rumba and feverish rock.

With their recently released “El Baile Final…De Los Locos y Los Cuerdos” (Bittersweet Recordings, 2009), Fernando Pardo, David Krahe, Roberto Lozano, Javier Vacas and Yevhen Riechkalov are riding high and set to win the game.
