As the mastermind and driving force of the MYTHIC label, the Englishwoman JoJo De Freq is all about making albums that turn heads, get bodies moving and thrill the senses.
She was the one spinning in the DJ booth of the electroclash temple known as Nag Nag Nag, and she did the same at the famous Bugged Out. It was in these clubs that she honed and perfected her skills during the heyday of electronic music. That she succeeded is more than obvious with MYTHIC and her own productions – “Saturn Returns” and “Pop This Reverie” – outrageously danceable sequences that will surely be among the dance highlights of the night she appears at the Festival.
