The music of the New Yorker Colleen Murphy, otherwise known as Cosmo, has a post-disco sound and vibe that could be described as sheer perfection. Her sessions for parties organised by the likes of David Mancuso and François Kevorkian of Loft and Body & Soul have earned her a privileged place of prestige on the DJ circuit.

Her label, Bitches Brew, co-founded by Nikki Lucas, is a veritable extension of her personality, having released albums like “The Disco Tech of Cosmo” and songs such as “Musical Blaze-Up” – a tasty slice of deep dancehall featuring guitarist Gary Lucas.
