There is a great leap from his adventures with Test Icicles to his new voyage. Devonte Hynes has left post-punk aside in order to forge new roads and explore new creative facets.

This new path has the name of “Falling Of Lavender Bridge” (Domino, 2008), a record with non-conformist folk roots. This edge can be witnessed in songs such as “Galaxy of the lost”, “Tell me what is worth” or “Midnight surprise”, to cite some of the twelve songs which make up this album.
