With several albums under their belts, the hour draws near when we will be able to see this band from Atlanta playing at the Festival.

The reasons lie in a trajectory of perfectly executed incendiary garage punk, which since their first album, “Black Lips” (2003) released on the essential Bomp! Records label, is still showing strong signs of life.

Cole Alexander, Jared Swilley, Ian Saint Pé and Joe Bradley have succeeded in really honing their skills and talents on “Good Bad, Not Evil” (Vice, 2007), an album whose sound could be compared to glorious beasts of the 60s such as The Sonics, Los Saicos, and The Standells.
