In 2001, Heineken became the Festival’s main sponsor creating an exemplary and pioneer bond that opened a gateway to a new way of understanding musical sponsorships in Spain at a time in which cultural financing was an uncertain bet.

From Maraworld we would like to thank Heineken España – and the different teams that have made up their Marketing departments throughout the past 10 years – for trusting and supporting us in our initiative and helping us in the development of the Festival in the way in which we understand live music.

The 17th edition of the Festival will be held from the 14th to the 17th of July 2011 in Benicàssim’s concert venue. Our loyal Fibers will have the opportunity to buy next year’s tickets for a special price in the upcoming days.

The new schedule for SUNDAY 18th for the stages is as follows;

*ELLIE GOULDING (ESCENARIO VERDE): 21.30 h.

*MARCUS DOO & THE SECRET FAMILY (EASTPAK FIB CLUB): 19.45 h.

*PARADE (EASTPAK FIB CLUB): 21.45 h.

The remaining schedule for Fiberfib.com stage will remain the same.

- Carry a photocopy of your passport with you so you can leave the original somewhere safe.

- Make use of the lockers at the Festival site. Don’t leave your passport out of sight unless it’s locked away.

- Don’t keep all your valuables together. Keep a photocopy of your passport and an extra bank card separate.

- If you want to carry your passport around with you, make sure it’s in a zipped pocket or bag.

- Be especially careful at the beach and after the Festival. It’s easier to become a victim of crime or to lose things when you’re tired or relaxed.

- Make sure you have travel insurance and look carefully at what it covers.

If you lose your passport or have it stolen, British Consulates in Alicante and Barcelona can give you advice and information on how to get an Emergency Travel Document to get home. We’ll also have extra support at our Honorary Consulate in Valencia so we’ll be nearby if you need us. You’ll find contact details and extra information at the information points at the Festival site.

Finally, The City Hall has successfully managed to fulfill and complete the temporary property assignment cession of the terrain as well as those of the Hydrographic Confederation of the Júcar River, allowing BeniCamp – previously known as Bonet – to open from Monday July 12th until Tuesday July 20th.
